Orientation for Junior Volunteers at the Library

Kids entering grades 6 through 8 next September can volunteer in the Children’s Department at Acton Memorial Library this summer.

Those interested must attend an orientation meeting.  Meetings will be held on Saturday, May 12 from 11 a.m to noon or Monday, May 21 from 7 to 8 p.m.  Sign-up for the meeting is not necessary, but if you can’t attend either meeting you must make arrangements with a librarian to schedule another training session before June 4th.  Registration begins June 4th and the prepared form with your work times can be submitted to the CHILDRENS DESK. Participants will work 5 hours between Monday, June 18th and Saturday, August 11th, one hour at a time, one hour per week.
