1. Acton Community Chorus Open Rehearsals: Stop by the Faith Evangelical Free Church at 7:30 p.m. this Monday, Jan. 27 to meet chorus members and learn about the Acton Community Chorus. Get the details here.
2. Public Meetings Preview: According to the town website, here's the week's lineup of public meetings:
- Monday, Jan. 27: the Board of Selectmen and Sewer Commissioners' at 6:30 p.m.
- Tuesday, Jan. 28: the Acton Housing Authority at 4 p.m., the Finance Committee at 7:30 p.m., the Historic District Commission at 7:30 p.m. and the Acton Memorial Library Board of Trustees at 7:30 p.m.
- Wednesday, Jan. 29:
- Thursday, Jan. 30: the Health Insurance Trust at 8 a.m. and the Acton/Acton-Boxborough School Committees' Regoinalization Financial Oversight Subcommittee at 7:30 p.m.
- Friday, Jan. 31:
4. Footloose Marks Final Musical for A-B Directing Team: When "Footloose" takes the stage this weekend, it will mark the final production for the team of Linda Potter, Jeanie Furlan and Liza Levy. This weekend's shows, featuring cast of more than 50 students, will be at 7:30 p.m. this Friday, Jan. 31 and Saturday, Feb. 1, and at 3 p.m. this Sunday, Feb. 2. Get the details here.
