Celebrate National Chemistry WeekAt 2 p.m. this Tuesday, Oct. 22, the Discovery Museums invite you to explore the wonders of chemistry with some fun, hands-on activities around this year’s theme "Energy: Now and Forever!" Get the details here.

3. HGRM Volunteer OrientationHousehold Goods Recycling of Massachusetts, the Acton-based nonprofit also known as HGRM, is looking for new volunteers. And they're hosting a new volunteer orientation at 1 p.m. this Wednesday, Oct. 23. Get the details here. 

4. ABRHS PC Presents 'The Tempest'Acton Boxborough Regional High School's production of Shakespeare's "The Tempest," directed by Noah Simes opens this weekend, with evening shows at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 25 and Saturday, Oct. 26 and a matinee at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 27.
