1. Celebrate National Chemistry Week: At 2 p.m. this Tuesday, Oct. 22, the Discovery Museums invite you to explore the wonders of chemistry with some fun, hands-on activities around this year’s theme "Energy: Now and Forever!" Get the details here.
2. Public Meetings Preview: According to the town website, here's the week's lineup of public meetings:
- Monday, Oct. 21: the Board of Selectmen & Sewer Commissioners' Meeting at 7 p.m.
- Tuesday, Oct. 22: the Historic District Commission at 7 p.m., with a notice of a public hearing at 9:30 p.m.
- Wednesday, Oct. 23: the Acton 2020 Committee at 7 p.m.

ABRHS PC Presents 'The Tempest': Acton Boxborough Regional High School's production of Shakespeare's "The Tempest," directed by Noah Simes opens this weekend, with evening shows at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 25 and Saturday, Oct. 26 and a matinee at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 27.
