Monday Essentials: Thanksgiving, Hanukkah and Thanksgivukkah in Acton

1. Thanksgiving's This Thursday: Which means town offices are closed Thursday, Nov. 28 and Friday, Nov. 29. The libraries and schools will be closed, as well. 

2. Public Meetings Preview: According to the town website, here's the week's lineup of public meetings: 

3. Free Pizza Day ThanksgivingFrom 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. this Wednesday, Nov. 27, Danny's Place Youth Center will open for the early release and, in the early afternoon, will order pizzas as its way of celebrating Thanksgiving with students in grades 7 through 12. Get the details here

4. Thanksgivukkah ... It's a Thing, ApparentlyThanksgiving and the first full day of Hanukkah both fall on Nov. 28 this year. 

5. Grand Community Hannukah Festival and Silent AuctionAt 3:30 p.m. this coming Sunday, Dec. 1, the Acton Concord Chabad Center will host the 9th annual Grand Community Hannukah Festival and Silent Auction at the Concord Scout House, located at 74 Walden St., Concord. Get the details here
