Weekend Agenda: A Winter Drama Festival, Healthy Living Lecture and High School Fencing

1. CCM Faculty Concert, Guitarist Juanito Pascual
Where/When: West Concord Union Church, 1317 Main St., Concord; 7 p.m., Friday, Jan. 10 
Why Go: 
Because the noted Flamenco guitarist and composer Juanito Pascual will perform at the Concord Conservatory of Music's Faculty Concert.

2. Acme Theater's New Works Winter Festival 2014
Where/When: ArtSpace Maynard, 61 Summer St., Maynard; 8 p.m., Friday, Jan. 10 and Saturday, Jan. 11
Why Go: 
It's the 13th annual New Works Winter Festival, featuring the work of local playwrights, actors and directors. 
Pricing: $18 for adults, $16 for seniors/students and $16 each for groups of 10-plus

3. Interactive Healthy Living Lecture
Where/When: South Acton Congregational Church, 35 School St., Acton; 7 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 11 
Why Go: 
In this interactive lecture on New Year's Resolutions, Linsey Hurley, a holistic health counselor, share some ideas for bringing better health into your New Year.

4. 8th Annual CCHS Fencing Invitational
Where/When: Concord Carlisle High School, 500 Walden St., Concord; 9 a.m., Sunday, Jan. 12
Why Go: 
Because how often do you have the chance to see a high school fencing tournament? 
Pricing: Free 

5. Musketaquid Winter Wild Walk 
Where/When: Concord Land Conservation Trust French’s Meadow; 1 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 12 
Why Go: 
To join Lydia Rogers and Bob Metcalfe for wildlife animal tracking in and around Concord Land Trust conservation areas to observe clues of the many animals that quietly make a living closeb y, including tracks or signs of coyote, red fox, fisher, deer, otter, beaver and others.
