As a seller, consigning goods here I found this business to be less than an honest partner. Although the agreement I was issued when delivering goods (a scheduled meeting which they failed to open for the first time) was clear on the process they failed to observe it. My property which they did not want to sell was "donated" away without notifying me; a claimed email was never received and they failed many times to reply to other mails or even return phone calls on this subject. When money was owed to me for sales which took place, they again failed to notify me though I was assured it was policy to do so.
I was told several times the absent manager/owner was the only person who had authority to execute many operations in the business; she is never available and fails to reply to communications often. In the several months since I unfortunately brought my goods there they have now implemented a voicemail answering system advising that no messages are returned. This completes the lack of customer service. I would not recommend they be made your business partner for consignment sales.

I'm not sure what store Axel went to, but I will say I have been a consignor with Buttons and Bows since they opened 3 years ago. I feel a need to defend them!
I have had nothing but great experiences with them! They know myself and most of thier consignor/customers by first name.
Thier level of customer service is beyond impressive. I have consigned with other places in the past and never had any where near the level at which B&B operates.
I'd like to say that the owner, Jillian, is there all the time. She's lovely and always allows my kids to play freely in the store. The voicemail has also been stating they don't check messages for at least 2 years now, so I'm not sure where that comment comes from. Regarding payments, it's the consignors responsibility to contact the store and states it in the contract.
Don't let this bitter consignor, who clearly didn't read her contract, stop you from checking out the GREAT store!
