I don't normally write reviews but this place is outstanding. Th staff is phenomenol. the food is cooked to order. I've never had even a mediocre meal. It's ALWAYS delicious. Even the salads.

Great food (but too much)! The staff is outstanding, very attentive and personal. Never a bad experience. BYOB cuts the cost and always assures me that I will have the perfect wine with dinner (since I bring it...).
They prepare all meals to order and aren't phased by special requests. It is now our favorite restaurant in town.
One of my favorite spots in Acton! Very friendly, warm staff. Have been going here monthly with my sister and Dad for several years now. I feel like family when we walk in the door. The meals never disappoint. Love the calamari, and whatever special I choose for the meal. The portions are generous, and I always walk out with a smile on my face! Nice to be able to BYOB! Definitely recommend this restaurant!
5 stars! Great place, have always had a wonderful experience there. The mussels are awesome, eggplant parm portion was huge. BYOB, really cuts down on the price. The staff in great, they remember your face with is so nice.
We went here for dinner on Mother's Day. The restaurant was packed at 7:00, but we got plenty of attention from our upbeat server.
Everyone's food was delicious, and portions were huge. My daughter and I had mussels first, which were very tasty. The garlic and oil pasta side was, said my husband, exactly what he hoped it would be. I had eggplant rollatini, which was also very good. Bringing wine from home made it less expensive. With appetizers for all, double soft drinks for the kids, five dinners, tax and tip it was $25 per person. And we had leftovers for the next night at home!
We ordered from the catering menu last weekend--very reasonable prices for the main dishes ($35 half trays feed ten.) A huge amount of pasta and container of sauce were only $5 extra.
We'll go back!
The chicken francese is delicious. Portions are huge. Most importantly, even though Il Forno looks like a "grown up" restaurant, the staff is really wonderful when we come in with our young kids. I really appreciate that. Great food and great service, so nearby.
