A motor vehicle stop by the Acton Police Department on May 3 resulted in the arrest of a Marlborough man. Just before 6:40 p.m., responding officers pulled over a motorist on 345 Main Street, just north of Route 2. After officers completed an investigation, Milton Esau Divas Ramos, 25, of 160 Broad St., was arrested and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. An Acton man and 14 other individuals are facing drug distribution charges in connection with a Boston-area narcotics distribution ring, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office. The suspects were arrested on the morning of Thursday, May 9 and include: According to a press release, a court-authorized wiretap was used to listen in on the suspects’ activity over a four-month period. Bourque, who owns a Natick-based shipping firm named DEX, used his company to distribute oxycodone (Percocet) pills to redistributors and drug customers. An undercover sting by the Acton Police Department on May 2 resulted in the arrest of a local man. Two officers were out on Main Street just before 9 p.m., attempting to buy stolen property. Officers arrested one person in the sting and had his car towed. John E. Williams, 21, of 47 Drummer Road, was arrested and charged with two counts of receiving stolen property more than $250. The arresting officer was Leo D. Gower. According to Sgt. Ray Grey, detectives had been watching various on-line sites for electronic equipment which had been stolen during a breaking and entering several weeks earlier from a residence on Flagg Road. A call to the Acton Police Department on April 27 regarding a disturbance at 285 Arlington Street resulted in the arrest of two people. Officers were dispatched just before 11:30 a.m. after receiving a report of a male subject causing a disturbance. After officers arrived and completed an investigation, two people were placed under arrest for having outstanding warrants. They were: The arresting officers were Ana Dapkas and James R. Goodemote. The nature of the warrants was not given.

A motor vehicle stop by the Acton Police Department on April 25 resulted in the arrest of a Woburn man. At about 1:54 a.m., responding officers pulled over Ryan J. Archuleta, 20, of 4 Thonton St., on Main Street in Acton. After an investigation was completed, Archuleta was arrested and charged with: Archuleta's car was towed from the scene. The arresting officer was Jesse Osterhoudt.

A motor vehicle stop by the Acton Police Department on April 24 resulted in the arrest of a Maynard man. At about 4:43 p.m., responding officers pulled over Daniel J. Hogan, 29, of 2 Main St., on Main Street in Acton After an investigation was completed, Hogan was arrested and charged with: Hogan's car was towed back to the Acton Police Department. The arresting officer was Jonathan J. Stackhouse.

Boston Police announced a major new development in the Boston Marathon bombing case Wednesday morning. According to the department, there are three new suspects in custody. Boston Police tweeted the news just after 11 a.m. Wednesday. There were no further details, though the police said they would offer more information soon. A call from a female resident on Hosmer Street to the Acton Police Department on April 24 resulted in the arrest of a local man. Officers were dispatched to 71 Hosmer St., Apt. 21, at about 5:15 a.m. after a wife at the residence asked for her husband to be removed following an argument. After responding officers arrived and completed an investigation, Ralph A. Moulaison, 52, was arrested and charged with assault and battery. The arresting officer was David C. Joachim.

A call to the Acton Police Department on April 20 from Boxborough police regarding a disturbance resulted in the arrest of a homeless woman. Acton police were contacted by a Boxborough sergeant at about 1:27 p.m. who stated he received a text message from another person. That person stated another person was "out of control." A responding Acton officer was dispatched to Harris Street and returned with Kelly A. Hickey, 47. She was charged with a domestic assault and battery which took place in Boxborough. Boxborough police transported Hickey back to their station. The arresting officer was Stephen McCarthy.
