Matthew and Ryan Bedford are being released today under specific Concord District Court terms and conditions while the case is still underway.
The case of Acton's Bedford brothers, Ryan, 23, and Matthew, 20, who have both been charged with the attempted murder of Frank Dalli, 35, also of Acton, have been released on $2,500 bail (each) on certain provisions from Concord District Court Judge Kunis. This case is regarding the stabbing of Dalli at the Acton Bowladrome Wednesday, May 9, 2012. The Bedford brothers are to be released under these conditions: As of recent, the Bedford brothers obtained two new, separate lawyers – Hugh Curran, representing Matthew and Gerard Malone, representing Ryan. Updated, May 11, 3:50 p.m.: The Acton Police Department has issued the following press release: The following two individuals have been arrested and were arraigned at Concord District Court on the afternoon of 5/11/12. We are asking for the public’s help through the media to identify a third suspect who was involved in the incident on 5/8 in Acton where a man was assaulted, stabbed and almost run over by a vehicle. The last suspect is described by witness as a black male, tall, thin with longer hair worn in a “short dreadlock style.” He is reported to be an associate of the two arrested individuals and we are asking that if anyone knows his identity to call the Acton P.D. A 35-year-old man was allegedly stabbed and almost run over by a pick up truck.
According to Police Chief Francis Widmayer a 35-year-old man was allegedly stabbed and almost run over in the parking lot of the Acton Bowladrome Wednesday night at 8:50 p.m. Witnesses reported an altercation erupted between a group of people inside the bowladrome that was brought outside into the parking lot where three suspects, two white men and a black man, described to be in their early 20's attacked the 35-year-old man. The man was allegedly stabbed by one of the white males and all three of the suspects jumped into a black pickup truck and attempted to run over the victim before leaving the scene. The victim was brought to the Lahey Clinic and is currently in a stable condition. No further information was released about this …
