Road closures, Transfer Station rate changes, karaoke, PurpleStride, and blogging.

Road Closures: 1. Tree removal will be taking place today and Friday on the following roads and traffic will be expected due to road closures. Work will take place between 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Transfer Station Rate Changes: 2. The Board of Selectmen adopted new rates for the FY 13 Transfer Station and Recycling Center: Karaoke: 3. Tailgaters will host karaoke at 9 p.m. PurpleStride: 4. Last month, Acton Patch featured a piece about local mom Alison Takacs and her daughters, Rosemary and Grace. At the time, their team had collected $2,629. They were far from reaching their fundraising goal: $20,000 to fight pancreatic cancer.
