Unable to comeback again in its rematch with Lincoln-Sudbury, the Colonials fall 71-56.
Acton-Boxborough was unable to repeat the comeback success they had in their previous match up with Lincoln-Sudbury. Despite another third quarter run on Tuesday, the Colonials fell 71-56 at home to their Dual County League (Large) rivals. “They were ready and we were not,” said A-B coach Rick Kilpatrick. “When you are going to beat a team like L-S, with the size that they have, you have to shoot it well from outside. The first game we did that especially in the second half.” Down 38-30 in the third quarter of their previous match up, the Colonials had managed to put together a 19-4 run on their way to winning 63-56.
