Welcome to our weekly Business of the Week feature, where we highlight a business in town. All businesses we highlight are listed in our business directory. This week's spotlight is on Julie's Place. Located in Acton Shopping Center Plaza next to ACE Hardware, Julie's Place is a diner with traditional tables and two bars with ample seating. Serving home-style cooking, Julie's pleases customers with its meatloaf dinners and pot roast. I agree with Chris. after 9 is a scary time to be hungry. One underrated option is The Local Table, despite having very limited hours, its now our go-to for a bite out (late on the week at least). Good burger and beer on tap, makes me happy.   more ›

Julie's Place Wins Best Breakfast in Acton [VIDEO]

Voters decided Julie's Place is the top place for a breakfast in Acton.

In Acton Patch's inaugural "Best of" contest, 124 voters had cast their ballots when the poll closed at 9 a.m. and those votes helped decide the best breakfast in town. The winner? Julie's Place with 67 votes. Check out the attached video to take a look inside Julie's Place. Coming in second was a tie between Bagels Plus ans Sweet Bites. Next week, Acton Patch is looking for the best preschool or daycare in town. Voting begins Monday at 6 a.m.

Acton Patch highlights Julie's Place. Breakfast, lunch and dinner served with a sense of community.

If you ask anyone who has dined at Julie's Place, they will all tell you the same thing: great food, good atmosphere, nice people. Julie's Place in Acton has been serving breakfast to the community since 2001 and has recently expanded their building, adding another place to dine for lunch and dinner and a stocked bar to enjoy a drink.
