NARA Fireworks Had Early Start - No Update from Town [VIDEO]
Did you see the fireworks? Acton Patch missed the show.
I thought the fireworks were to start at approximately 9:30 p.m. last night. I checked the Town website, the Recreation Department Twitter account and their Facebook page throughout the day and did not see an update that the fireworks were going to start early. There was some scattered lightning in the area and I'm guessing they jump-started the show in fear of the weather worsening. Update: I drove to NARA around 8:50 p.m., and noticed swarms of people fleeing the park around 9:15 p.m. I stuck my head out the window in bumper-to-bumper traffic and asked a few people what was going on and they all said the show was over. When I managed to turn the car around I saw a lot of people in the Woods Plaza parking lot – most seemed confused about …

It's unfortunate that people have to take such hard sides. Isn't it possible to really apreciate the town and its great fireworks event AND be disappointed to have missed it so ask for better communication in the future? more ›
