Acton Resident Receives All-NESCAC Basketball Honor
Hannah Foley among the leaders for the Tufts University women's basketball team.
The Tufts University women's basketball team enjoyed one of its best seasons in its history, and one of its leaders has been honored because of it. Hannah Foley (Acton, Mass.) received NESCAC All-Conference honors recently. Foley was an offensive force for the Jumbos, leading the team in scoring (11.6 points per game) entering NCAA play. Her play in NESCAC games was even more impressive as she posted a 12.7 average. Her finest effort was against Wesleyan on Jan. 18, when put up a season-high 28 points. Foley is a .364 3-point shooter (44/121), and also has an outstanding .860 free throw average (43/50). Her 35 steals are second on the team. Tufts, 23-2 overall, is hosting an NCAA Regional at Cousens Gym this weekend. The Jumbos play St. …
