Who Let the Dogs Out 5/11 - 1:21 a.m. - Liberty Square: Someone called to report that a dog was running loose. The dog officer was notified.  See You on the Dark Side of the Moon  5/11 - 1:47 a.m. - Liberty Square: The police received a call from a party who said that he was "going insane" and requested to be transported to the hospital.  Too Young To Buy Alcohol 5/12 - 3:05 p.m. - Mass Ave: A caller reported that a youth was attempting to purchase alcohol. UPDATE - Breaking News: Kitchen Fire on Flagg Road – No Injuries

No injuries were reported except for the loss of a pet bird and an estimated loss of $50,000.

At approximately 10:50 a.m. (May 11), the Acton Fire Department received a 911 call from a resident of 12 Flagg Road, Acton, about a kitchen fire. The Acton Fire Department responded with two fire engines, a ladder truck, an ambulance and personnel. Upon arrival, the Fire Department noticed smoke appearing from the windows and roof area. Everyone safely evacuated the home with no injuries, with the exception of the loss of a pet bird. The cause of the fire is under investigation – though according to the Acton Fire Department, there does not appear to be suspicious activity. An estimated amount of loss/damage is $50,000. Acton Police Logs From March 21 - 26

A suicide threat, texting and driving, marijuana smell and the microwave incident.

Regulated:  3/21 - 5:17 p.m. - Mass Ave.: An employee reported that a customer did not pay her bill and was causing a scene. When police arrived, she paid her bill. Fired:  3/22 - 4:28 p.m. - Great Road: Police were called to help remove a terminated employee.  Five Fingers Severed by Saw: 3/23 - 4:00 p.m. - Kinsley Road: A 78 year-old male had all five fingers on his left hand amputated by a saw. Subject was transported to the hospital. All Apartment Complexes have Smells: 3/23 - 7:45 p.m. - Iris CT: A resident reported that she could smell marijuana in the hallway of the apartment and believed it was coming from nearby residents.
