ReplyThe Osterville store is due to open this spring/summer. It will be located on Wianno Avenue, next to the Osterville Package Store. The space was previously Pocket Full of Posies (which has moved a few doors down).

ReplyWow! "I don't know any true conservatives, just a bunch of loud angry white people screaming about what a raw deal they think they're getting by losing a tax loophole after years of profiting from less fortunate taxpayers." Where did race become an issue? I would welcome Mr. Mannal's comments on the subject at hand.

ReplyYou know what Taryn, voting is anonymous, so I have no problem with being anonymous in voicing my opinion! Mr. Mannal's personality aside, what he's doing is still a little dicy. Please read the article in today's Boston Herald about the topic. It's located at bostonherald.com/news_opinion/local_coverage/2013/02/pol_aiding_sex_cons_
got_defense_cashDon't you want level 2 sex offenders to have their names in the public registry? Also, it states that he's "worked with the CPCS to file bills to reduce the registration requirements for sex offenders to 10 years to life-down from 20 years to life..." These are scary issues that we all must face.

ReplyI'm guessing you are all thrilled to pieces to know that Mannal has started to show his true colors. Have you read that he is now urging for a bill to help convicted sex offenders get tax-funded lawyers. Oh, by the way, he has earned more than $130,000 from the state as a public defender in recent years. Although the state allows employees , including legislators, to work for the Committee for Public Counsel Services they must file financial interest disclosure forms with the state ethics commission. Mannal has not filed any such paperwork yet---surprise surprise. This guy was slimy and manipulating as a kid and he continues today. Aren't you all glad that you voted for him?

ReplySTOP TAKING MY MONEY!!! Clean up the waste and fraud of EBT, SSDI, etc.... I'm sure he's suggesting these tax hikes just in time for him to leave office and the state of Massachusetts. He'll probably move out of Massachusetts once his term is up and move "up" to Washington DC politics.

"Acton's diversity is disappearing.." Have you looked at or been into the Acton public schools lately?? The schools (especially Conant Elementary) look like the United Nations. Many nationalities are clearly visible.
