High tech attorney with a passion for community service work and diversity.  Have helped lead much corporate diversity and pro-bono work.  Have also worked on many of the Acton and Boxborough area community service boards and leadership teams.

My current "business plan" for Acton Community Leading Initiatives is FIRST to determine the priorities of my ACLI heroes in "WHAT WORK" needs to be done and how fast change can occur.   SECOND, help get that work done with:

Astrong focus on communications to the 50% of the people who get their local news on their cell phones: and

Recruiting volunteers who spend most of their time working at the world's top companies and who can best make their contributions using their corporate work styles and cutting edge technology even from airports abroad.

ACLI also looks to leverage the coalition that brought a most successful social work to Town:  non-profits; NGO's; clergy; church outreach groups and concerned citizens.  We've seen that when there is consensus in those groups and an action plan that can be initiated in the way people normally work, the coalition becomes an irresistible force for creating and maintaining world class community service work with the values of the best in Acton, Boxborough and surrounding communities.

We shouldn't have to decide who to support, eg. seniors, students, immigrants, people with disabilities, etc.  All need our help and we need to find creative ways to get that done and do it now.

That is ACLI's mission and it gets it guidance and priorities from its Heroes who have led the community service work in Town for decades but are now stretched to implement both in the traditional word of mouth and letter to the editor and in the new social media world where things move in different paths at different speeds.  ACLI plans to help them accomplish both for the 99% support that we saw for the social worker at Town Meeting in 2008.
