Acton Fitness Coach Sentenced to Jail for Child Porn

Former co-founder of a fitness and education program for children under the age of seven is heading to jail for possession of child pornography.

Acton resident Brad Warner, 33, was sentenced before U.S. District Judge Patti B. Saris to 151 months in prison, followed by a lifetime of supervised release on child pornography charges, after pleading guilty on charges of possession of child pornography.

Warner was co-founder of HammelFit in Westford, Mass., a fitness program designed for children under the age of seven.

According to a press release from U.S. Attorney Carmen M. Ortiz, if the case proceeded to trial, evidence would have shown that Warner was sharing email conversations with Robert John Mueller of Sterling Heights, Mich., about their shared sexual interests in young girls from the ages of three to 10.

There were also email communications between Warner and John J. Belloli of Dearborn Heights, Mich., in which Belloli emailed a video file of a prepubescent female and an adult male engaging in sexual acts and also sent videos of prepubescent females changing.

“Today, justice has been served, and Mr. Warner has been held accountable for his actions,” said U.S. Attorney Ortiz, in a press release. “Those who exploit children, as Mr. Warner has been convicted of doing, should heed this warning. We will continue to investigate and prosecute aggressively crimes perpetrated against children.”
