  • Boxborough resident Julie Carroll, owner of Mia Bella Candy Box, opened the doors to the West Acton business on Sept. 30, 2011, and has been treating Actonians to a whimsical old-fashioned candy shop experience ever since. You will find everything from handmade truffles to Charleston Chews at Mia Bella Candy Box.

  • Acton resident Paul McMahon, owner of The Happy Chocolatier, opened the doors to the North Acton business on Oct. 15, 2011, and has been treating Actonians to chunky cubes of fudge ever since. You will find everything from ice cream and chocolates to specialized Fudge Cubze in several desirable flavors at The Happy Chocolatier.
