The 5th Annual Adrian Martinez Classic, a festival of miles for all ages and abilities, will take place on Saturday July 6th, 2013, on the track at Emerson Field in Concord. The event brings together the entire New England running community for an evening of mile races for every age group from 5-75 – including a “First-timers mile” for those who have never raced on the track before. The evening culminates with a set of elite races – the “Adro Miles” – offering prize money for the top 5 finishers, and a bonus for the first male to break 4:00 and first female to break 4:30.

The Martinez Classic is unique on the New England Running scene: a track event with a carnival atmosphere – races for all ages, music, food, and a chance to watch some of the best runners in the region. The event has doubled in size over its first four years and has begun a tradition of racing excellence and fun that is becoming an important part of the 4th of July weekend for New England runners.
