1. Acton Community Chorus - Open RehearsalAt 7:30 p.m. this Monday, Sept. 16, at the Faith Evangelical Free Church, you can check out the Acton Community Chorus for the start of the group's 30th season at the first of two open rehearsals. Get the details here

3. A-B United Way's Day of CaringThis Thursday, Sept. 19, more than 50 volunteers from local businesses, high schools and the Acton-Boxborough United Way will rally to support eight local project sites. Click here for the details on the Day of Caring.

4. International Talk Like A Pirate Day: This Thursday, Sept. 19, is International Talk Like a Pirate Day, and you can celebrate it at the Discovery Museum where they'll have activities to learn pirate lingo and to make eye patches. Get the details here
